"Creating this fused glass 'puzzle' required carefully sawing each piece and matching it exactly with the other pieces.  It took weeks and when I finally fired it together in the kiln, it was nearly perfect.  Now imagine how I felt when I found it shattered on the floor, having fallen from the window where it was temporarily standing.  I was heartbroken, but carefully picked up all the pieces and buried them away in my workshop...I did not want to deal with it.  Months later, it was time to make something of all that effort.  Picking Up The Pieces" is my catharsis, transforming those broken pieces into something beautiful."
